Free Family Fun Day – Easter Community Day in Haxby

This Easter, Haxby is set to sparkle with creativity, community spirit, and family-friendly fun! Schiewe Ceramics is hosting a FREE Easter Community Day on Friday 3rd April 2026, from 11am to 3pm at Haxby Memorial Hall. The event promises a joyful day of activities, games, and arts for families, friends, and neighbours.

Inside Haxby Memorial Hall, visitors can enjoy a wide range of free activities including crafting and sculpting workshops for all ages, mini golf, garden games, and traditional games, face painting and interactive puzzles, and a tombola with exciting prizes.

A special feature of the day is the Youth Market, showcasing talented young creatives from the local area. Families can discover and support unique, handmade items while encouraging the next generation of makers.

The excitement continues outside the hall with the Discover: Eggsplore Haxby Ceramic Egg Hunt from 12–2pm. Over 100 bespoke ceramic eggs, handcrafted by Schiewe Ceramics, will be hidden around Haxby's independent businesses. Find an egg, and it's yours to keep!

This event is proudly funded by the Vibrant and Sustainable High Street Fund, supported by Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, David Skaith, and the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
